About me
After 30 years in the massage therapy field, I have dedicated myself into learning a variety of techniques and styles. Learning a new style with every year I have been in practice. In the last 20 years I have also taught many of those styles to the students joining the field. I do offer a $20 discount for first time clients and veterans.
My services
Myofascial Release
Myofascial refers to the fibrous tissue that encloses and separates layers of muscles. It is the multi-layered connective tissue in your body that holds, stabilizes, and connects everything. Myofascial tissue is a network of tissue that spreads throughout your entire body, connecting your muscles, joints, and bones, and providing support to your organs. During myofascial release therapy, the focus is on releasing tension in your fascial tissues.
EDS (Ehlers- Danloss Syndrome)
The conditions are caused by genetic changes that affect connective tissue. Each type of EDS has its own set of features with distinct diagnostic criteria. Some features are seen across all types of EDS, including joint hypermobility, skin hyperextensibility, and tissue fragility. EDS massage helps with symptom control and better quality of life.
Neuromuscular
This deals specifically with the issues involving the nervous system and the muscles with how they function.
Trigger Point
Trigger points are hyperirritable spots located in skeletal muscle. They are palpable nodules in the taut bands of the skeletal muscles' fascia. Trigger points produce pain locally and in a referred pattern and often accompany chronic musculoskeletal disorders.

In the United States Swedish Massage is the most common type. It includes a lighter more soothing style. It’s more of a gentle tune up instead of a treatment.

Massage therapy isn’t typically painful. I prefer to coax the body, but I also acknowledge that some people need more intense work. If you have a specific condition you're looking to treat or any concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out.

I’m an inclusive, LGBTQ+ affirming practitioner. I often treat clients post surgery with pain management, regaining sensation, and more. My practice is inclusive and affirming for everyone, I welcome you to share as much or as little as you want with me in order to help you feel comfortable joining my healing space.
